On the occasion of the 2026 European Heritage Days — whose theme this year is Protecting Heritage. Renewing, Resisting, Reinventing — the MAN’s Education Department is offering a workshop led by sculptor Ignazio Davoli. Participants will have the opportunity to try their hand at working stone by hand, using specialised tools such as a hammer and chisel.

In addition to providing hands-on experience, the aim of the workshop is to introduce participants to this ancient art.

Participants will also be able to discover some of the craft and industrial uses of stone-working waste, as part of a broader approach to the recovery and enhancement of natural resources.

The workshop is free of charge and admission is free.

The workshop will take place on Saturday, 26 September 2026, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm
