The collateral initiatives arise from important twinnings in the Nuoro area:
with the National Archaeological Museum “G. Asproni” of Nuoro, which granted the loan of a precious bull protome from the nuraghe Ruinas (Arzana), from the early Iron Age, X-VIII BC;
with the weaving masters of Studio Pratha, who created a monumental textile project that reinterprets the details of Guernica, entrusting them to the natural colors of Sardinian sheep’s wool and the tenacious industriousness of ancient looms. A feminine homage, traditional, stubborn and at the same time touching, it marks an alliance of spirit and militancy between the hands of Sardinian women and those of a masterpiece that lowers its eyelids with emotion to the victims of all wars.
And, finally, with the artist designer Manuelle Mureddu who created the video animation “Gernika” by (direction, writing, artistic direction and illustrations) in collaboration with Michela Anedda, writing, animation and editing, Luca Tuveri, illustrations, Simone Mura , music and sound. A further homage of high graphic quality, admirably composed, to the genesis of the work through the creative phases of the genius, his suggestions, his powerful transformation into the forms and screams of a historical and human tragedy.
