Nico Vascellari’s work is focused on folklore and landscape, constant in his latest productions. The installation will use some recurring materials in the Sardinian tradition, such as wax, fire, wood, cowbells.
What interests the artist is the reference not so much to popular culture itself but rather to those social and geographical factors that have contributed to its development, such as atavistic fears, primitive fascinations, specific territorial identities which nevertheless retain a universal value.
