The exhibition, in the new layout of the museum, recomposes the oscillation between past and future in Paolo Bianchi’s images, finding the point of balance in the female figures, in the local women, “the fairies with the tiagiola”, the enchantment of a a country that one hundred years ago was the extraordinary protagonist of an exemplary, innovative and contemporary artistic adventure. The foreign gaze, today as then, reveals the magic and beauty of Atzara, and returns it with disarming conscious simplicity to the present, moving the horizon further and further and “forgetting by heart”. The journey is accompanied by the works of the masters of Sardinian art of the 20th century: from Biasi to Figari to Corriga, from Scano to Devoto, coming from public and private collections, together with some precious and significant masterpieces by the highly celebrated Chicharro and Ortiz.
