Course of Contemporary art

5 Mar 2026

After the success of previous editions, the MAN Museum renews its appointment with the public and presents a new edition of the Course of Contemporary Art: a carefully designed path to help navigate the major artistic transformations from the twentieth century to the present day.

A journey in six stages through movements, themes, and figures that have been able to interpret the spirit of their time, transforming art into a tool for critically understanding reality.

Six lessons to approach the contemporary, exploring figures, languages, and historical contexts that have shaped a century of experimentation.

Curated by Chiara Gatti and Elisabetta Masala, the course offers a broad and accessible perspective: from the dawn of modernity to the most recent research, interweaving art, politics, society, and ecology.

An opportunity to develop interpretative tools, foster critical thinking, and engage with the present through images. An open path for all, designed for those who wish to deepen their understanding of contemporary art with a critical and informed perspective.
